I have specialized in individual and small group health insurance since 1993.
I received a BS degree from Virginia Tech in 1965 and an MBA in 1973. Since then I have successfully completed the requirements for the Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) designation.
I am the past president of the Southwest Virginia Association of Health Underwriters (SWVAHU).
I have served and continue to serve within the community. This includes being a former president of the Salem Lions club and working to help out in "Rebuilding Roanoke".
My personal business philosophy is shaped by Proverbs 3:27. "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do so."
My wife and I have been married since 1966. Since then we have been blessed with four wonderful children (two by birth and two by marriage) and five terrific grandchildren.
We were stationed in Wiesbaden, Germany from 1967 to 1971 while I served in the Air Force. Our first child was born there.
I enjoy attending a local church and participating and serving in a number of capacities.
